Biography

Ryan Ally (b. 2000, Queens, NY) is an artist, photographer, and
experimental filmmaker based in New York City.

He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from
Syracuse University College of Visual and Performing Arts.
While as a Studio Technician at the School of Visual Arts for the
BFA Photography and Video department, he is pursuing a
Master of Fine Arts in Photography, Video and Related Media.

His work delves into the dynamics that shape the Guyanese
immigrant experience and explores what constitutes living
the '"American Dream" across various regions. As a result,
he is perpetually influenced by the environments he resides in,
finding great joy in photographing, wherever possible.
